Planning & Zoning Director Frantz told council that Cavanaugh has scheduled a Cleveland Water tie-in for the new road off Wheatley Road beginning at 9 p.m. on Wednesday, July 8. Frantz said operational notices ask businesses to plan for an 8 p.m. disruption and that water will be off for approximately 4–6 hours for impacted properties including Nexen Tire, True North, McDonald's, Wheatley Spur/Prairie Vista and the Glencairn development. The developer asked the village to assist with notification to residents and businesses.
Frantz described the outage timing and the affected area and asked staff to coordinate communications. Council did not vote on the tie-in notice; it appears to be an operational notice provided by the developer and Cleveland Water.
