Board approves consent items, schedules policy second readings and defers MOA finalization

During the meeting the Holland Central School District Board of Education approved several routine items, scheduled policy action and deferred a memorandum of agreement for further administrative revision.
At the start of the meeting the board resolved to approve bond consent-agenda items. The board later approved the annual-meeting and budget-vote arrangements "as per attached," and trustees recorded a motion and voice approval for health and welfare services for the 2025—26 school year.
The chair read a list of policies under review and said the board will hold a second reading and consider adoption at the April 15, 2026 regular meeting. Policies mentioned included concussion management (7522), procurement/Uniform Grant Guidance for federal awards (5134 series), data-network security and cyber-incident response (5850-series) and others on nonresident students and organizational meeting rules.
A proposed memorandum of agreement between the district and the EFT Teachers Association was on the agenda but not attached; administrators said they would meet with the union, revise the MOA and return it to the board in April. The chair also acknowledged donations, including an entry listed as "Morris at Brink Trust, $485,485.52" for a scholarship and "Dolores m Brink Trust, $97.10" for the school library.
No executive session items were reported and the meeting moved to adjournment after routine closing business.
