The board agreed to identify three or four committees, draft invitations, and return the item as an agenda item at the next meeting for approval and volunteer recruitment. "We wanna come up with a good list of at least 3, maybe 4, committees where we can invite public members to join," a board member said during the roundtable.
The proposal is intended to expand community input while preserving clear board oversight through a designated board member for each ad hoc committee.
