Andrew Stang elected board president; Kelly McKenzie named vice president

The Holland Central School District Board of Education elected Andrew Stang as board president and Kelly McKenzie as vice president for the 2025–26 school year.

During the call to order, board members nominated and approved officers by voice and show of hands; Stang was declared elected with an announced tally of "7 ayes and 0 nos," and he then took the oath of office and assumed the chair. "I, Andrew Stang, do solemnly swear that I will support the constitution of The United States and the constitution of the state of New York, and that I will faithfully discharge the duties of the office of DOE president according to the best of my ability," Stang said when taking the oath. The board later approved Kelly McKenzie as vice president for the 2025–26 school year and administered her oath.

The board also administered oaths to newly seated members and the student representative: Thomas Wojcievski and student ex officio board member Grace Tavernier were sworn in; interim superintendent Katie Faviatos also recited the oath for her office. The formal officer elections occurred as part of the meeting's organizational business; no roll-call dissent was recorded.
