Planning staff announced that the bridge connecting Garden Street to City Center Park is open and that both parts of the boardwalk are accessible, pointing out access from Market Street and nearby residential and retail reference points. "The bridge to City Center Park is open. Please enjoy between Garden Street and City Center Park," staff member Paul said during announcements.
Commissioners also heard that construction is imminent for a bike path and parking at Hubbard Park and that the City Council plans an all-day tour of the two wastewater treatment plants and the Public Works building on the next day. Staff and commissioners described the tour as an opportunity to view city infrastructure and operations in person.
