Board approves conditional use permit for Pearson residence near Palmyra

The Otoe County Board of Commissioners approved a conditional use permit for Alex Pearson to construct a residence in F-1 zoning on the S ½ SE ¼ of 9-9-9, north of Palmyra at the northwest corner of Highway 43 and C Road.
Dan Thomson, Otoe County surveyor and planning/zoning administrator, told the board the plan is for a house to be built and that Cass County Rural Water and the Otoe County Planning Commission had approved the application. There was no public comment during the hearing.
Commissioner Cole made the motion to approve the permit, Commissioner Crownover seconded, and voting aye were Freshman, Parsons, Crownover, Cole and Sornson. Nay—none. Motion carried.
