The Board of Civil Authority opened with introductions of two newly appointed members. The Chair said Cynthia Magu was appointed Jan. 14 to fill a vacancy and that Bert Monger was appointed by the governor this past week to another now-filled seat.
Members noted that Misty Cernot moved out of town, creating a prior vacancy, and the Chair indicated there were no other vacancies ‘‘as I—m aware of this moment.’’ The Chair also said the board would alert local Republican party officials about any vacancies so they could submit names if interested.
