Near the end of the session a board member moved to enter deliberative session to consider the three abatement requests heard that evening; the motion was seconded and the board voted 'aye.' Chair Chris Shaw confirmed that the board will deliberate in closed session and that written decisions will be provided to applicants within 30 days.
The board did not make public rulings on the three cases during the meeting; instead members recorded that they would review submitted documentation and return written findings to each applicant. The clerk was directed to prepare and send the notices once the deliberation is complete.
