Residents press for community voice as council weighs Kiley Center transfer and reuse

"Part of that inclusion being that there will be a board of directors put together for the governance and overseeing of the community center that community members, citizens, people from Bowman Towers, people from Dunbar be in a position to sit on that board," a resident said. Staff and councilmembers said they expect multiple further actions, public hearings and community-engagement steps before final agreements are signed.
