Barbara Hill, a Sheridan County resident, used the public comment time to request improvements to gravel and walking areas at the fairgrounds to help older visitors with balance challenges. The Board heard her concern; Pro Tem Chair Nick Siddle "agreed and assured Ms. Hill that the Fair Board is considering improving ADA walkways and seating."
Kimber Solberg, Fairgrounds Director, earlier told the Board the Sheridan County Fair Association called a special meeting for June 17 to discuss the details of a building project and that she will bring an update to the Board on June 29. Solberg also reported the fairgrounds are gearing up for a busy summer schedule. No Board action on capital funding was taken at this staff meeting.
