Ben Harrell of CHA reviewed a set of updates submitted for the Matthews Automotive Group expansion at 3893 State Route 31: updated architectural elevations, a revised zoning table, snow-storage locations, coordination with Moyers Fire Department on access, updated front-yard tree plantings, an SHPO (State Historic Preservation Office) letter, revised building square footage and a DOT letter reporting no issues. Harrell said SWPPP approval had been obtained and C&S had received responses to its comments.
C&S Engineer Caitlin Choberka said additional discussion is needed about invert elevations on the southwest portion of the site, where shown inverts appear not to line up; Harrell explained the lower inverts as part of the proposed design. The board asked to remove a sheet note stating, "these drawings are for communication of design intent only," from the engineering sheets. With these technical items outstanding, Mr. Henty moved and the board adjourned the case to August 12, 2026.
