Clay board codifies large-scale development law, schedules concerts zoning hearing and names PERMA liaison

The Town Board adopted a resolution establishing Chapter 210 of the Town Code to codify Local Law No. 7 of 2026, the "Large-Scale Development Permit and Community Host Agreement Authorization Law." Councilor Bick moved the codification resolution, and the motion passed 5–0.
The board also set a public hearing for August 17 on Local Law No. 8 of 2026 to amend Section 230-16(A)(2) to permit indoor and outdoor concerts in the Neighborhood Commercial (NC-1) and Limited Use Restaurant (LuC-2) districts. Councilor Bick moved the resolution to call the hearing. Additionally, Mary Lou DesRosiers was appointed as an alternate to the Zoning Board of Appeals (term to Dec. 31, 2026) and Supervisor Damian Ulatowski was named liaison to the Public Employer Risk Management Association; that appointment was adopted with Ulatowski recorded as abstaining on the roll call where noted. The Board also called a public hearing on a proposal to rename Plantation Boulevard to "Owen P. Honors Boulevard" for August 17.
