Village eyes $600,000 for West Richfield Cemetery work; crosswalk estimate drops to ~$100,000

He also reported that the High & Broadway crosswalk, originally budgeted at $130,000, now appears likely closer to $100,000; quotes are due June 17, 2026, and staff plans to propose legislation to waive competitive bidding to expedite the work so it is ready for Community Day, though flashing lights would be delayed about 18 weeks.
Sandy Turk said the planned approach is to move funds from the capital improvement fund (D01) to the cemetery fund; any formal appropriation or legislation would be presented to council.
