Greg Fischel of Allied Sign Company withdrew the request for a freestanding‑sign area variance but asked the board to permit a third wall sign at 3567 State Route 31. Fischel said the additional wall sign would match the existing oval sign and be non‑illuminated.
"they would like to withdraw their request for an Area Variance for a freestanding sign but wishes to proceed with the Area Variance request for 3 wall signs," Fischel explained. The ZBA granted the wall‑sign variance with the condition that the installed signs be in substantial compliance with Exhibit A. The motion to approve, made by Michael Becker and seconded by Ryan Frantzis, carried on roll call: Becker, Porter, Frantzis and Chairperson Mason in favor; Deputy Chairperson Karen Liebi opposed.
