At the April 16 meeting the Five-Year Strategic Planning committee—chaired by Supervisor David Gerhard—reviewed capital equipment needs and grant activity. The committee recommended continuing to plan for a new (or used) grader and pursuing a dry-storage addition off the salt shed as primary capital items.
The report said SLFRF (COVID) funding claims have been entered into the online tool and—"if all goes well"—the town expects to retain the full $59,000 it received. The committee also flagged monitoring CHIPs funding and continued web page development and newsletter work as ongoing priorities.
