The town’s Highway Department reported routine maintenance and equipment servicing for April 2025, including servicing the tractor, removing sanders from vehicles, completing OSHA training, ditching Slate Creek, mounting lights on barriers at Fall Creek and spot grading. The report is recorded as provided by Jeffrey Getman.
The board also discussed Fall Creek repair work, noting the Highway Department will perform as much of the work as possible. FEMA filing and reimbursement work continues; earlier minutes note the town has received $77,126 in FEMA reimbursement funds that are being applied to equipment needs. Highway staff located a used water tanker (85,000 miles cited in the minutes) as a potential brine vehicle; the board authorized purchase via Resolution #9.
