CSW proposes March 31, 2027 date and TIG for Women of Excellence planning

Chair Malia Davidson-Faleafine proposed hosting the Women of Excellence event again in March 2027 and suggested March 31, 2027 as the date, saying the timing would allow experienced members to mentor newer members in planning. "Chair proposed hosting this event again in March 31, 2027 because there will be members on the Committee who have hosted the event before who can help teach new members the planning processes," the minutes state. The Chair proposed forming a TIG and both the Chair and Vice-Chair agreed to serve.
Committee members deferred detailed planning until the next meeting to allow new members to participate in the process. No funding decision was made at this meeting; the Committee will continue planning at the July meeting and expects to use the TIG to coordinate logistics and staffing.
