The Village of Hudson Falls Planning Board on Oct. 28, 2024 approved a site-plan application submitted on behalf of Raymond M. Kew that adjusts property lines at 2-4 and 6 Pine Street. The board voted 4–0, with Chairperson David Hutchinson and Board Members Deborah Breeyear, Lynn Leland and Diane Santa Croce in favor and four members absent.
The board's approval includes a specific condition requiring that "the northwest line is increased to 8 feet off from the property #2 structure;" the motion to approve was made by Board Member Diane Santa Croce and seconded by Board Member Lynn Leland. Chairperson David Hutchinson explained the board reviewed the request with the code officer and noted the side-yard setback requirement is eight feet; the applicant's agent, Katie Havens, "agreed that the line could be moved if that were a requirement of the approval."
