Resident urges county to press VDOT for rework after surface treatment failures on multiple roads

VDOT-area staff (Miss Worley) responded in a later agenda item that district crews are addressing vegetation, shoulders and grading and that traffic engineering is reviewing special requests. She also provided information about Chesterfield County's volunteer approach to removing advertising signs in VDOT right-of-way and noted that the code allows a $100 civil penalty for signs although collection is uncommon.
