Mayor John Barton reported the village received a quote of $3,665 to fix a leak on the roof of the Historical Courthouse at 122 Main Street, and noted an additional $1,000 would be charged if the roof had been previously glued. "We recently received a quote of $3665, with another $1,000 if it was previously glued," Mayor Barton said; Attorney Bill Nikas added he would include a spout and drain and said repairing the damaged fascia could be done at an additional $80 per hour for an estimated 16 hours.
Trustee Daniel Hogan commented that the quoted rate seemed reasonable for the work needed. The Board unanimously resolved to approve the roof repair; the minutes do not show a separate approval for fascia work or a final authorization for the additional hourly repair, so any fascia work appears to require separate approval or later authorization when costs are confirmed.
