Feeder Canal Alliance seeks more municipal support for events after 11 years without increase

Simone said the Alliance "had not asked for a funding increase for 11 years" and described marketing and new flyers intended to bring visitors to the area.
She told trustees Hudson Falls contributes 60% of the local funding and the Town of Kingsbury 40%, and said she had not received financial support from neighboring Glens Falls or Fort Edward for the insurance increase. Trustee Horrigan encouraged Simone to seek contributions from other municipalities and the Board agreed to review the request during the next budget discussion.
