Doyle asked the board to keep previously‑allocated funds in reserve for an inscribed plaque and noted a larger county project compiling a multi‑volume register of veterans is ongoing.
Doyle reported cemetery marker dedications and planned displays for public events; he asked to delay ordering the final plaque until records are fully reconciled and said he expects to order the plaque in time for a 2027 dedication. The board received the report and will maintain funds for the plaque as requested.
