The board recorded the following outcomes when it returned to open session: the Supervisor is to sign the water contract with the Village of Pulaski at a rate of $4.50 per 1,000 gallons; the board directed Town staff to ask B&L to seek a better price for a planned tank cleaning originally estimated at $250,000; and three farms with incorrect billing were moved from an agriculture rate to a corrected rate of $3.80 per 1,000 gallons.
A motion to change the three farm accounts to the corrected rate was made by Councilman Atkinson, seconded by Councilman Pappa, and passed by roll call (AYE). The minutes record the three affected accounts as Paper Cup Farm, Robert Atkinson Farm and Lewie Douglas Farm.
No additional contract language or final pricing changes were recorded in the minutes; the board directed negotiation with the consultant (B&L) before any final contract amendment is signed.
