Supervisor Robert North presented motions to approve the 2026 salaries, official undertaking, the Town's investment policy and procurement policy. Councilwoman Sue Haynes moved to accept the items and the board approved those motions by roll-call vote of "AYE."
The board also voted to give the Queen City Times an opportunity to serve as a newspaper for some Town notices while retaining the Palladium-Times as the official paper. The board then entered executive session to discuss appointments, inviting Superintendent Kevin Balcom; members returned at 7:45 p.m. and reported no formal decisions were made in executive session. The meeting adjourned at 7:46 p.m.
