Chief Business Officer Ruth Alohadoyan presented the district's unaudited actuals for fiscal year 2024–25 and summarized changes between the adopted budget and year‑end results. She said the district's ending fund balance was roughly $5.9 million, including $1.7 million in restricted funds and a required reserve for economic uncertainty of about $1.66 million, leaving approximately $2.7 million in available funds.
Ruth credited higher‑than‑expected enrollment and local revenues (including PEF contributions and other local fundraising) for revenue increases, and noted expenditures included a 4% salary increase for employees, higher benefit contributions, and capital projects such as HVAC and security upgrades. The board moved, seconded and approved the unaudited actuals.
Board members thanked the finance team for the presentation and asked a few follow‑up questions about reserves and one‑time grants; Ruth and staff said auditors will complete formal audit work in the coming months and staff will provide further detail as needed.
