Borough Manager Cindy Wells told the council the borough holds a lien against 121 East High Street for the amount of $2,690 and that the Erie County Landbank requested the lien be removed on the property donated to the Landbank. "The Borough has a lien against the property for the amount of $2,690," Wells reported as council considered the request.
Councilor Kerns moved to remove/satisfy the lien for the full amount (approximately $2,690), Councilor Steadman seconded, and the motion carried unanimously. The action clears the stated municipal lien on the Landbank-owned property, according to the motion recorded in the Aug. 27 minutes.
