The Nottoway County Board of Supervisors approved a special exception allowing Sylvester and Mildred Green to replace the existing residence at 2533 Oaks Road with a double‑wide manufactured home on tax map number 31‑86. Planning staff said the parcel is approximately two acres, zoned conservation, and that the Planning Commission recommended approval by a 6–0 vote.
Planning staff identified a condition related to four inoperable vehicles on the site and told the board there would be no occupancy permit until the vehicles issue was addressed: "There'll be no occupancy permit until those vehicles ... issue is dealt with," staff said. The board moved, seconded, and voted to approve the special exception; the clerk recorded the motion carried 5–0. Staff also noted that health‑department septic permits and other standard permitting remain required before occupancy.
