Sheriff Kendall reported to the Round Valley advisory council that construction of a behavioral-health wing is progressing.
Kendall also said Proposition 36 has not been funded by the Governor and that the county's Restorative Justice program is 'very busy,' roughly doubling the number of people who are receiving services through that program.
Those updates were delivered as part of routine reports to the council; no council decisions were made at the March 4 meeting regarding these programs.
