Staff reported an aeration bubbler at the west end of the lake is still not working and that a barricade at the north end of the Preserve is in poor condition; a fence at a nearby Shannondale property may address access concerns.
Clerk Gravelin reported a cut lock on the gate at the billboard lot had been replaced by Pete Flagg with a combination lock to reduce keyholders. Council also addressed an instance where a lawn maintenance company placed vegetation and trash adjacent to Gem Lake, which drains to the Lake Worth Lagoon and the Intracoastal Waterway; the property owner will be advised they cannot use that area for trash collection in order to comply with the Palm Beach County National Pollutant Discharge and Elimination System (NPDES) agreement with the state.
