The Litchfield Public School District board approved its consent agenda during the Aug. 25 meeting, with Darrin Anderson moving and Tim Oster seconding the motion; the minutes record the vote as 5-0.
Consent items included approval of prior meeting minutes, financial reports, board bills and bank transfers, construction pay applications and the 2025–2026 certified staff listings. The board approved an employee separation agreement for Greg Dugstad and accepted several personnel transactions: Jessica Herker was hired as a special education paraprofessional at the middle school (6.5 hours/day at $19.07/hour, effective Aug. 25, 2025); Karen Foley was hired as a Dragons Kid Club aide (up to 15 hours/week at $15.00/hour, effective Aug. 25, 2025); resignations included Kathy Grabow (Lake Ripley Student Council, effective Aug. 20, 2025) and Kim Sundve (Special Education para, effective Aug. 25, 2025). The board also approved the transfer of Sarah Echeverria from a Special Education para to an ELL para at the high school and the release of Emily Culver as a custodian at Lake Ripley (effective Aug. 14, 2025). The consent agenda also authorized increased hours for ECSE paras: Megan Larson (24.75 to 28 hours/week), Annie Patten (6 to 9 hours/week) and Tracy Gunderson (24 to 24.75 hours/week).
Board minutes record the consent motion as carried 5-0. The minutes do not itemize individual roll-call votes for each consent item.
