Menahga board approves consent items including FY25 audit, MYNA Therapy agreement and coaching hires

At its Feb. 9 meeting, the Menahga Public School District No. 821 board approved a consent agenda that bundled routine minutes, the financial report and several administrative and personnel items. Board member Andrea Haverinen moved to approve the consent items; the motion was seconded by David Treinen and carried unanimously.
The consent package named specific items: minutes from Jan. 26 and other recent meetings, the district financial report, notice of coaching assignments for Lindsay Aho (Head Softball Coach, step 6), Emily Huotari (Assistant Softball Coach, step 2), Alexa Leiran (Assistant Softball Coach, step 2), and Erika Jensen (Assistant Softball Coach, step 2); a paraprofessional work assignment for Kalli Bervig beginning Feb. 3, 2026; a MYNA THERAPY agreement; an Education Minnesota MOU; and the Eide Bailly Final Audit for FY25. "Motion by Andrea Haverinen to approve the following consent items: 1. January 26, 2026 regular meeting minutes; January 29, 2026 Negotiation meeting minutes; February 2, 2026 policy committee minutes; 2. Finacial Report; 3. Notice of coaching assignments ... 7.
