Residents press Placentia council to prioritize long-delayed street repairs

Joanne Sowards and others asked why projected Measure U revenues had not translated into immediate repairs and urged council members to show residents a clear, agendized plan rather than repeated postponements.
Councilmembers responded that staff are preparing a single future agenda item that will present options and timelines for accelerated rehabilitation of residential streets, and that funding and contract choices (including whether to pause or cancel other projects) would be part of that discussion.
