The board approved three labor agreements presented by Executive Director of Human Resources Yvonne Schwartzlin covering a combined group of roughly 108 employees and two years of contract terms.
Schwartzlin summarized the largest group (A3M management personnel, 62 employees) would receive 2% wage increases in year one and 2% in year two and that the total package for that group is $695,137 over the two-year term. She then described the licensed coordinators group (17 employees) with 2% increases and a $215,386 total investment across two years, and the student management specialist group (29 employees) with a $230,944 investment over two years. With ratification HR and payroll will implement updated terms including aligned employer insurance contributions and compliance language updates.
Each contract was moved and seconded and passed by roll-call vote, 6-0. Board members asked clarifying questions before votes and administration confirmed the contracts include compliance updates required by changes in state law and address deferred compensation and professional association fund shifts where applicable.
