Board holds closed sessions on negotiations and superintendent evaluation

On June 16 the Rockford Board of Education moved into closed session to discuss negotiations pursuant to Minnesota Statute section 13D.03. The board entered closed session at 7:18 p.m. following a motion by Johnson and a second by Sjodin; the board returned to open session at 8:14 p.m. on a subsequent motion by Sjodin, seconded by Johnson.
Immediately afterward, the board entered a second closed session to discuss the superintendent's evaluation under Minnesota Statute section 13D.05, Subd. 3(a). The motion to enter that closed session was made by Johnson and seconded by Gordee; the board returned to open session at 8:25 p.m. and adjourned at 8:26 p.m. following a motion by Johnson and second by Sjodin.
