Robbinsdale School Board schedules July professional-development sessions, names three priority topics

Dr. Greta Evans-Becker, chair of the School Board of Robbinsdale Public School District, announced that the board will hold two professional-development sessions in the Education Service Center boardroom: Tuesday, July 22, 2025, from 6:00–9:00 p.m., and Wednesday, July 23, 2025, from 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
The board ranked three topics to focus the sessions. The Chair said one session will bring in Dr. Dave Webb, former Edina superintendent, to train the board on the IROD (Information, Reactions, Options, Decisions) decision-making process; a second will demonstrate what the district’s eduCLIMBER data platform can do for the board; and a third will feature Dr. Nicole Dimich (Solution Tree) and Dr. Betty Webb (Webb Consulting) to discuss the Board, administration and union as a "three-legged stool," clarifying the board’s role in leadership and assessment. Meeting minutes state that other suggested topics that received votes will be added to the agenda if time permits.
