Rush City school board opens Sept. 11 work session, approves agenda

The Rush City Public School District (Independent School District #139) board of education called a work session to order at 6:03 p.m. Thursday. Board members William Schmidt, Ken Lind, Kristin Papke, Teri Umbreit, Rory Roth, Kevin Haugrud and Brent Stavig were recorded present; Kerstin Quigley attended as an ex officio participant.
Teri Umbreit moved to approve the meeting agenda as presented; Rory Roth seconded, and the motion carried unanimously. The minutes record three new business items on the agenda — a proposed levy discussion; discussion of school board and superintendent goals and evaluation; and Vision Card revisions and update — but include no substantive debate or decisions on those items. The meeting adjourned at 6:41 p.m. Minutes were signed by Kristin Papke, Clerk.
