Environmental Commission member urges township to pursue municipal solar installations

Lynch also raised options for residents who lack roof access or funds to install conventional solar — pointing to "balcony solar" (plug-in arrays) as a low-cost partial solution and asking the committee to consider whether an ordinance would be required to allow them. She requested follow-up on whether the township plans to expand camera coverage for ALPR and said she supports the police department's stewardship if safeguards are robust. The committee and staff said they would take the comment under advisement and provide follow-up information.
