Board swears in newly elected members and elects officers for 2025–26
Summary
At the June 12 meeting the board administered the Oath of Office to four newly elected directors effective July 1, 2025, and elected Chair Luhui Whitebear and Co-Vice Chairs Shauna Tominey and Terese Jones by acclamation.
Co-Vice Chair Terese Jones administered the Oath of Office to newly elected directors Luhui Whitebear, Shauna Tominey, Sarni Al-Abdrabbuh and Bernie Wang; their terms take effect July 1, 2025. The board then nominated and elected officers for 2025–26 by acclamation: Luhui Whitebear as Board Chair and Shauna Tominey and Terese Jones as Co-Vice Chairs.
Nominations received no opposition and the votes were recorded as passing unanimously. The board asked the secretary to ensure future meeting dates avoid conflicts with graduation ceremonies next year.
