Board adopts consolidated actions including tax and procurement resolutions
Summary
The Corvallis School District 509J Board approved a package of consolidated action items covering officer designations, micro-purchase threshold certification, electronic publication of bids, increased school construction excise tax rates, insurance renewals, minutes, personnel actions and several policies.
At its June 12 meeting the Corvallis School District 509J Board of Directors adopted consolidated action items as presented in the informational packet. Director Sarni Al-Abdrabbuh moved adoption and Co-Vice Chair Terese Jones seconded; the board voted unanimously.
The consolidated packet included acceptance of May 20, 2025 election results; Resolution No. 25-0602 designating district officers, clerks, agents and depositories; Resolution No. 25-0603 (annual self-certification to increase the federal micro-purchase threshold); Resolution No. 25-0604 authorizing electronic publication of public notices for bids and proposals; and Resolution No. 25-0605 to increase school construction excise tax rates. The packet also listed minutes, personnel actions, and proposed policy items for review. A revised meeting schedule for June 2026 was requested to avoid conflicts with graduations.
