Planning commission approves minutes and a PUD setback amendment for Rockford Road property

Commissioner Craddock moved to approve the Oct. 15 minutes, seconded by Commissioner Shivel; the motion carried 10-0-0. Later in the consent agenda, staff recommended approval of PUD-185-3, which would update Lot 10 setbacks to match current RS-1 standards: a 5-foot side (west) setback and a 10-foot rear (north) setback, while permitting an existing building to remain 2 feet from the north property boundary. Commissioner Hood moved approval and Commissioner Rosene Robinson seconded; the Commission voted 10-0-0 to adopt staff’s recommendation.
The staff report noted the amendment does not change other PUD standards and concluded the request is a minor amendment consistent with Section 30.010H. The Commission recorded the vote as follows: Ayes — Bulmash, Craddock, Fugate, Hood, Humphrey, Krug, Rosene Robinson, Shivel, Turner-Addison, Whitlock; Absent — Walker. No public speakers addressed this consent item.
