Henry Berger, cochair, called the March 17, 2026 meeting of the New York State Board of Elections to order and introduced the day's business. Berger introduced his cochair Peter Kaczynski and commissioners Esma Bagnola and Anthony Casale at the start of the meeting.
The board considered two items of new business. Resolution 26‑03 amended the voter registration form to add language‑access contact listings and to clarify the ID section; the counsel's office summarized those changes and the board adopted the resolution unanimously. Resolution 26‑04 approved an upgrade to the no‑ink electronic poll book (Polpad v4.2.1); election operations presented test results and compatibility notes and the board adopted that resolution unanimously as well.
After handling new business, the chair confirmed there was no additional business or need for an executive session, a motion to adjourn was moved and seconded, and the meeting was adjourned. Participants exchanged brief St. Patrick's Day greetings at the close.
