The board approved recommended caps on nonresident interdistrict transfers for the 2025–26 school year. The adopted limits are: Sixth Grade — 12; Seventh Grade — 10; Eighth Grade — 2; Ninth Grade — 10; Tenth Grade — 10; Eleventh Grade — 10; Twelfth Grade — 10.
Director Julie B. Hale asked clarifying questions about the interdistrict transfer process and district staff answered. Director Anna Huit moved to establish the numbers as recommended; Director Michelle Roberts seconded the motion and the board approved it unanimously, 7–0.
The adoption sets the maximum number of nonresident students the district will accept per grade for the coming school year; individual admissions will still be processed according to district policy.
