The North Bend School District #13 Board approved its action/consent agenda on July 1, adopting routine items including the June 5, 2025 minutes, new hires and resignations, and surplus declarations.
The board also approved annual business items: it identified a list of confidential employees; designated the chief administrative officer and district budget officer as Superintendent Vince Swagerty; named Tim Crider as Business Director/Deputy Clerk; confirmed attorneys of record (Garrett, Hemann & Robertson; Hungerford Law Firm), auditor of record (Umpqua Valley Financial), and architect of record (Joe Slack, HGE Inc.); and established district depositories (Computershare, Banner Bank, Umpqua Bank, US Bank, BNY Mellon). The board authorized routine check-signing arrangements and permitted the District Clerk (or Deputy Clerk) to invest idle funds with the Oregon Local Government Investment Pool under the conditions stated in ORS 328.442(3).
