The North Bend School District #13 Board of Directors swore in four newly elected members at its July 1 meeting. Vice Chair Carol Yardley administered the oath to Julie B. Hale, Anna Huit, Megan Kronsteiner-Cahill and DeAnne Wiedenmann.
Following the oath, the board moved to elect officers for the 2025–26 year. Vice Chair Carol Yardley nominated Nathan McClintock for Board Chair; DeAnne Wiedenmann seconded the nomination and the board approved McClintock unanimously, 7–0. The board then selected its vice chairs: the body voted its preference between two nominations and chose Anna Huit as Board Vice Chair by a 4–3 recorded vote (Anna Huit 4, Michelle Roberts 3). Carol Yardley moved to nominate Michelle Roberts as Board Second Vice Chair and the board approved that nomination unanimously.
The votes were recorded by voice: the agenda approval and officer elections were motions with seconders and roll-call confirmation. No further debate on nominations was recorded in the minutes.
