Medford board recognizes new school leaders and thanks outgoing superintendent and directors

Board Chair Cynthia Wright and fellow directors publicly thanked Superintendent Bret Champion for his leadership, noting work to strengthen core practices and relationships during challenging times such as the COVID-19 pandemic. Directors also recognized Jeff Kinsella for his dedication and candor and praised Chair Wright for advocacy and mentorship during her tenure.
During his remarks, Director Kinsella reflected on the importance of seeing potential in every child and read the book Maybe, which he presented to incoming Board members. The Board briefly recessed to address technical difficulties with the online stream.
