The Mendota Unified School District Board convened Oct. 22, 2025, and approved the meeting agenda by a 7-0 roll call vote after a motion from Trustee Sergio Valdez and a second from President Salvador Ochoa. The board approved a broad Consent Calendar that included attorney invoice payments, professional learning agreements, a lease for the Migrant Head Start program, and warrants listed in the minutes.
On a separate motion, trustees adopted Resolution No. 410-2526 setting the district nnual organizational meeting for Dec. 10, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. The resolution passed 7-0 (motion by José C. Zavala; second by S. Valdez). Several consent items recorded recusals where noted in the minutes, and the board recorded specific roll-call tallies for items 9.2 and 9.5.
