The State Board of Elections voted to approve Robust's updated electronic poll book submission, which adds new hardware and official support for Windows 11. Staff said five counties currently use the Robust system and that upgrades are encouraged because Windows 10 reaches end-of-life in October.
"Windows 10 is becoming end of life, in October of this year, and there will be no further security update," an IT representative said. Staff reported that the submission had passed functional and security testing and that the board felt comfortable approving the update to allow county deployment and vendor support.
