State Board affirms amendments to Nov. 5, 2024 certification; no winners change

The State Board of Elections convened as a board of canvassers on Feb. 25, 2025, to review amendments submitted by six counties to the Nov. 5, 2024 general‑election totals. Staff said the changes have been incorporated into the official totals and that ‘‘it certainly did not change any winners,’’ pointing commissioners to summary pages in the meeting package.
Chair Commissioner Peter Kaczynski asked for a motion to approve the amended certification; after a second, the board voted unanimously. The board then closed the canvassers session and reconvened as the Board of Elections to continue its regularly scheduled meeting.
