Christina Runge, the K-School Library Technician, provided a brief presentation on recent library improvements and student-centered programming.
"Fall Pop-Up Book Fair raised $3,000, and Spring Book Fair historically raises ~$16,000, providing about $7,000 annually for library programs," Runge said, and she invited board members to visit the library to see how those funds support student engagement. Runge also described redesigned décor and student activities intended to increase reading participation.
The board received the update and was invited to tour the facility to observe library programs in person; no board action was required.
