Pendleton board approves multiple staff contracts and confirms new hires

The Pendleton School District 16 Board unanimously approved multiple personnel agreements and accepted personnel actions during the May 12 meeting. Director Lehnert moved to approve the personnel report that included two new certified hires: Blakely Rudolph as an English Language Arts teacher at Pendleton High School and Mike Robinson as a metals teacher at PHS; resignations for classified employees Yvonne Chapman (effective 6/6/2025) and Beth Hinze (effective 5/2/2025) were recorded. "Motion carried unanimously," the minutes state.
In addition to hires and separations, the board approved three-year agreements for administrative staff, confidential staff consultation, the Director of Business Services contract (Michelle Jones), and the Facilities Manager contract. The contracts run July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2028. The approvals were presented during the human resources section and were moved and seconded by board members; no dissenting votes were recorded.
